Why did we launch Algo Capital DAO ?
Algo Capital DAO is more than just a response to the latest technology trends; it's our proactive SOLUTION to a significant challenge in the digital asset sector: BRIDGING THE GAP in specialized financial and capital market expertise.
Since our foray into crypto in 2015, Algo Capital has been consulting investors and founders operating in the digital asset industry. Yet, over time we realized that our role as traditional advisors wasn't enough to create the impact we envisioned.
The business need was clear, as the majority of the projects that crossed our desk all had the SAME CHALLENGES…
Inability to consistently raise capital
Poor token economics
Absence of capital market expertise
No professionally managed treasury
No standardized protocol to assess and mitigate risk in place
However, even though we successfully assisted many clients in crypto, we often lacked a real say in the projects we were working on which lead us to believe that the standard agent-client model was somewhat restrictive… it was limiting our potential to drive real change.
It is time to SHIFT AWAY from CONVENTIONAL MODELS and truly transform our operations…
We’ve often advocated that the most lucrative investment in technology is to directly using it to enhance operational efficiency.
This is why we are transforming our organizational framework by implementing a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) structure.
A DAO differs from standard business models as it operates on a blockchain-based infrastructure and utilizes decentralized coordination processes.
There are no banks, there’s no back office, there’s no bureaucracy. This approach also ensures exceptional transparency, reduced expenses, enhanced security, and increased efficiency.
By harmonizing our infrastructure with that of the entities we assist, we have established a more productive and effective collaboration interrelationship. This alternative framework not only elevates our role from simple advisors to active stakeholders, but also places us in the forefront of supporting their development and growth.
We’re also transitioning from EQUITY-based models to a UTILITY TOKEN-based system.
The launch of our $ALGO token will offer us new capabilities and tools that have a distinct advantage over the ones available to a traditional corporation.
Among many benefits, for example using a token-based system can empower us to interact directly with decentralized applications, like DeFi protocols, further reducing our reliance on intermediaries and the fiat system.
